Hi! I’m Shelby, and I’m the founder of TUNE Healing Arts.

I started TUNE to help people rediscover the truth of who they are.

As a former kindergarten teacher, for many years I was surrounded by young people still lit up by joy, curiosity and playful creativity. It was contagious, and it helped me remember that we all start out this way.

Every single one of us is, at our core, a brilliant, imaginative, dazzlingly radiant being. As adults, we tend to forget this.

Most of us are overwhelmed, exhausted, and stuck in a loop of limiting beliefs and unprocessed trauma that prevents us from living the joyful and deeply fulfilling lives we deserve. We’ve forgotten our playfulness, our potential, and our power.

I spent many years trying to figure out how we can heal this rift in our awareness and find our way back to our true nature, so that we can live from that space of authenticity and limitless creativity.

Thankfully, I eventually found my way to sound healing.

In my Biofield Tuning and TUNE Sound Healing sessions, I use the coherent vibrations of tuning forks and other instruments (such as singing bowls and chimes) to resolve dissonance in your field and realign the flow of energy through your body. This soothes your nervous system and brings you into a relaxed state of increased clarity, coherence, and presence, in which a deeper level of awareness is available to you.

It turns out you can, quite literally, tune in to the extraordinary brilliance of your true Self.

I am inexpressibly grateful for the privilege of helping you do exactly that.

The light we’re searching for is already inside us.

We just need to tune in to find it.

Shelby has a Master of Science Degree in Education and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in the Humanities and Creative Studies. She has trained in Sound Healing with Eileen McKusick and Dr. John Beaulieu, Yoga with Alan Finger and Judith and Lizzie Lasater, and Wayfinding with Martha Beck. She is currently a student in the yearlong Compassionate Inquiry Professional Training program, based on the brilliant work of Dr. Gabor Maté. Shelby grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and has lived in Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Shanghai, and Goa. Her favorite quote to live by is:

“Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don’t search for the answers, which could not be given you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without ever noticing it, live your way into the answer…”
