Hi! I’m Shelby, and I’m the founder of TUNE.
I started TUNE to help people rediscover the truth of who they are.
As a former kindergarten teacher, for many years I was surrounded by young people lit up by joy, curiosity and playful creativity. It was contagious, and it helped me remember that we all start out this way.
Every single one of us is, at our core, a brilliant, imaginative, dazzlingly radiant being. As adults, we tend to forget this.
Most of us are overwhelmed, exhausted, and stuck in a loop of limiting beliefs and unprocessed emotions that prevent us from living the joyful and deeply fulfilling lives we deserve. We’ve forgotten our playfulness, our potential, and our power.
I’ve spent many years exploring how to heal this rift in our awareness so we can remember our true nature, and consequently live from that space of authenticity and limitless creativity.
Thankfully, I eventually found my way to sound therapy.
Just as it’s possible to tune a piano so that the strings vibrate at optimal frequencies for beautiful musical tones, sound therapy sessions tune your body so that the various parts of you vibrate at optimal frequencies for energetic harmony and flow.
In my sound therapy sessions, I use the coherent vibrations of tuning forks and other instruments (such as singing bowls and chimes) to resolve dissonance in your field and realign the flow of energy through your body. This soothes your nervous system and brings you into a state of deep relaxation and expanded awareness, in which higher levels of consciousness are available to you.
The light we’re all searching for is already inside us, we just need to tune in to find it.
If you’ve already had a session with me, you probably know I believe the best operating instructions for life can be found in a line from the poem Wild Geese by Mary Oliver:
“You have only to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.”
I hope you tune in and find your way back to a deeper awareness of your body, and therein, your true Self. May this lead you to more joy and fulfillment than you ever thought possible.
With Love,
Shelby
